Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects or material failures occurring under normal operating conditions and intended use.

Battery Warranty

The battery warranty applies to manufacturing defects and abnormal failures that occur during normal usage and operating conditions.

Warranty coverage does not extend to:

  • Normal performance degradation associated with battery ageing
  • Capacity reduction resulting from regular usage
  • Damage caused by improper charging practices
  • Use of non-approved charging equipment
  • Electrical fluctuations, power surges, or external electrical disturbances
  • Water ingress, immersion, flooding, or environmental exposure beyond intended operating conditions
  • Physical damage, impact damage, punctures, cracking, or misuse
  • Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or tampering

As lithium-ion batteries naturally experience performance reduction over time, gradual decreases in capacity, range, and efficiency shall be considered normal wear and are not treated as manufacturing defects.

Components Not Covered Under Warranty

Certain components are subject to normal wear and usage and are therefore excluded from standard warranty coverage unless a manufacturing defect is identified upon delivery or initial inspection.

These may include: tyres and tubes, Brake pads, Brake cables, Chains, Freewheel or cassette assemblies, Bearings, Grips, Pedals, Saddle and seat covers, Mudguards, Kickstands, Wheel rims and spokes, Suspension components, Rubber parts, Plastic trim components, Cosmetic or decorative accessories.

Accessories supplied separately, including helmets, locks, pumps, phone holders, bags, and similar items, are not covered unless expressly stated otherwise.

Warranty Service

Where a product issue is determined, following inspection and technical evaluation, to fall within the scope of applicable warranty coverage, VigorEbike may undertake corrective measures deemed appropriate under the circumstances.

Such measures may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Component-level remediation
  • Refurbishment
  • Software or system recalibration
  • Any other reasonable corrective action

All warranty assessments and remedial actions shall be carried out exclusively by VigorEbike or its authorised service representatives.

The determination of warranty eligibility, scope of coverage, method of resolution, and component equivalency shall remain solely at the discretion of VigorEbike.

Warranty Claims

To initiate a warranty claim, customers may be required to provide:

  • Original purchase invoice
  • Product serial or frame number
  • Registration details
  • Supporting photographs, videos, or documentation
  • Additional information reasonably requested for verification purposes

Customers may also be required to present the product for physical inspection at an authorised service location or designated inspection facility.

Warranty assistance remains subject to product verification, ownership verification, technical assessment, and compliance with applicable warranty requirements.
